Enterprising pupils have enjoyed a camping trip after impressing funders with their planning.
A group of Year 10 girls from Bedlingtonshire Community High School applied for support from the Keyfund before the summer holidays.
They had to deliver a PowerPoint presentation detailing their reason for the trip, costings and an itinerary.
And the panel was so impressed with their work that they awarded £250 towards the trip to Beadnell Bay Campsite.
The girls enjoyed visits to Seahouses for fish and chips, Bamburgh Castle and the Grace Darling Museum, developing skills in teamwork, budgeting and cooking.
