Staff at a flooring firm have raised cash for charity with a special Christmas fundraising event.
Employees at Frank’s The Flooring Stores, including Blyth and Ashington, have taken part in a series of festivities to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As well as wearing fancy dress, including Christmas jumpers, staff have been holding cake sales to raise cash.
Mick Copeland, business development manager at Frank’s, said: “This is a great initiative, which was the brainchild of staff members and has spread to become something much bigger than they had originally imagined.
“It is fantastic that the stores are getting involved across the north east and everyone has got into the Christmas spirit to raise money for Macmillan, a fantastic charity which does so much good for people throughout communities across the country.”
