At a time when everyone is busy in their daily lives, with Christmas coming up, we have a thank-you to say to some people.
Our daughter Annabelle has leukaemia. She was diagnosed at four years old, was in remission at six years old, then was rediagnosed at the age of seven-and-a-half.
She caught septicaemia and nearly died in 2016.
She is recovering, though she still has treatment at the RVI in Newcastle.
Recently, a father of one of the children at her primary school, West End in Bedlington, decided with his colleagues to do a cycle ride to raise money for her. This was out of the goodness of their hearts.
Thank you to Jamie and his colleagues.
We also owe a thank-you to her sister’s friend’s dad, who also raised money for Annabelle so that they could all go on a holiday last year and this year.
Thank you Ryan and colleagues.
Remember that there is always hope.
