A special edition training top has been donated as a top prize in a school’s competition.
Blyth Spartans manager Tom Wade was guest of honour at The Blyth Academy, where he donated the special edition training top as a prize in their recent bauble competition.
The students organised a guess the lucky Christmas tree bauble competition to win the shirt.
George Robson, who sponsored the match on Boxing Day, won with number 37, and was delighted to win the shirt which was presented to him by Tom along with head of PE Dan Kennerley and Connor Burnett representing the Academy football team.
The organisers were pleased that the shirt was going to a Spartans supporter.
