A giant boom arm is being unloaded at Blyth Harbour – thanks to some help from Mother Nature.
Harbour staff have been working with IHC Engineering Business to unload a giant boom arm from a Dutch barge in the south harbour.
However, they are having to wait until high tide later this afternoon to drive it off the barge.
The arm, used in offshore pipe laying, arrived from Holland earlier this week.
IHC moved to the Port of Blyth last year, creating a new single site.
