Adventures in the great outdoors are being offered to families at landmark Northumberlandia.
The ‘Lady of the North’ landform and country park near Blagdon is playing host to two events on Saturday.
Footprints on the Moon is aimed at children under five, offering outdoor crafts and activities using natural and recycled materials. Children will work with their parents to create ‘memory making times’.
It runs from 11am to 3pm and costs £3. Booking is required on 07523 570770.
Meanwhile, a new monthly Wildlife Watch Club holds its first meeting from 9.30am to 11.30am.
Catering for five to 12-year-olds, the club’s first session will be a Butterfly Bonanza, teaching youngsters about the species to be found at Northumberlandia and helping them to make butterfly feeders to take home.
It costs £3 and booking is essential at www.nwt.org.uk
