Grateful for assistance

On Saturday, September 20, I had a fall whilst walking over Aldi car park in Blyth.

As well as being badly shaken my head was pouring with blood.

Two couples kindly stopped and offered assistance, applying pressure to the wound, collecting my cash from the ground etc.

I only know that one of the women was called Marlene and her companion was in the army.

I would like to say a big thank you to all who came to my aid. I was in hospital until Sunday lunchtime and am still recovering.

I am not sure how I would have coped if they had not stopped and assisted.

The staff at Aldi were also helpful. I am now the proud owner of a pink fleecy blanket which the staff brought out to keep me warm whilst waiting for the ambulance.

Thank you once again – I could not have managed without your assistance.
