An award-winning green energy company has opened a new Northumberland office.
Opus Green has been based in North Tyneside since 2010, but managing director Chris Cassells thought the time was right to expand the company further north so has opened an office in the new Blyth Workspace building.
“We’re an ambitious, expanding business and were bowled over by the Blyth Workspace offices.,” he said.
“They’re in the right area for us, and in a stunning location looking over both the river and the sea.
“Due to the continued redevelopment of Blyth and the exciting opportunities across Northumberland we feel it is an ideal time for Opus Green to open an office in the north of the region and Blyth Workspace was the perfect choice as it is new, fresh, creative and green.”
Blyth Workspace is located on Commissioners Quay, an area undergoing major redevelopment by Arch, the Northumberland Development Company.
Amy Webber, Workspace manager at the new offices, added: “They’re exactly the sort of forward thinking and innovative company we want here.
“I hope they’ll be very happy with us.”
