A disability group has helped their community with a special slipper swap.
Choppington Disability Group decided they wanted to do more for the residents in the area, and took part in a slipper swap at Bridge View residential home in Stakeford.
Group chair Graham Huntley said: “After receiving a grant from the Greggs Foundation which we are most grateful for we were able to make this happen.
“The staff were delighted and thanked us for choosing them for their residents.
“We would also like to thank Wyndsor’s staff from Newcastle for supplying the slippers and in particular Della and her colleague for the extra effort to deliver them personally to enable this to go ahead.”
