A host of organisations are coming together to help open potential funding streams.

A range of national, regional and local funders will be attending a Funding Fair in Blyth on Tuesday, November 24.

The event, organised by Northumberland Community Voluntary Action, is taking place at the Briardale Centre from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.

Marc Johnson, funding officer at Northumberland CVA, said: “It doesn’t matter whether you just have an initial idea or a well-worked-up project.

“Whether your project is large or small, the Funding Fair gives groups a great opportunity to discuss their ideas with funders.”

Big Lottery Fund, Virgin Money Foundation and Northumberland County Council’s Community Chest are among the funders who will be available to talk directly to groups about applying for funding.

Marc added: “Our experienced Northumberland CVA staff team will also be there to advise groups on developing their projects, on volunteering and on accessing other sources of funding.”

Appointments must be booked in advance via (01670) 858688 or email enquire@northumberlandcva.org.uk
