Health bosses are calling on Northumberland residents to help shape future services.
The NHS Northumberland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding a patient forum in Choppington this weekend for people to hear more about plans for new models of care and give their views.
Earlier this month, the CCG outlined a collective vision for improving services with other health and social care partners.
The forum is expected to consider issues such as health services for young people, care for the elderly and patients with complex needs, and access to primary care.
Chief clinical officer Dr Alistair Blair said: “This is a chance for local people to share their experiences of the NHS and to influence the design of future local health services.
“We are keen to hear the voices of patients and to outline our vision for further joining up services and co-ordinating care for people in Northumberland.”
The event will also feature information stands from Healthwatch Northumberland, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Carers Northumberland.
It takes place at Choppington Social Welfare Centre on Saturday, from 9.30am to 12.30pm. It is free to attend.
