Residents are being encouraged to share their ideas on how local NHS services can get even better.
The ‘listening’ event at Ashington Football Club on Tuesday, November 26, from 6pm to 7.30pm has been organised by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
The event is an opportunity for people to provide feedback about NHS services in hospitals, the community, at home, in GP surgeries and by the ambulance service.
Jim Mackey, chief executive at the trust, said: “We would encourage people in the area who have experience of our care or would like to feed back their experiences with other parts of the NHS to come along to let us know about how we can collectively improve the quality of what we do.
“By working together with our NHS partners we hope to ultimately improve the way we integrate services to make care as seamless as possible for our patients.”
Anyone interested in attending should contact (0191) 203 1296 or email firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, November 22.
People not able to attend the session can give their feedback on suggestion cards in hospitals or online at www.northumbria.nhs.uk
