Port of Blyth officials will open their doors to the community next week for their latest annual public meeting.
The meeting, on Monday, is designed to give those with business and community interests in Blyth information on the performance of the port in 2017, as well as sharing plans for the future.
As a Trust Port, Port of Blyth is an independent organisation, neither privately nor publicly owned, and instead serves a wide range of stakeholders and routinely reinvests profits back into the company, as well as supporting numerous good causes through its community engagement programme.
As well as a presentation on the strong performance of the port during 2017 and plans for the coming years, the event provides stakeholders with the opportunity to discuss any aspects of port activities with commissioners and senior management.
Also on show will be the winning entries of the port’s Annual Community Photography Competition from 2017, as well as a selection of previous winners.
