A community help hub in the cuonty has welcomed its 15,000th visitor.
The hub, on Front Street in Bedlington, has been open for just over five years, and offers free use of computers, internet access and telephones to people who are applying and searching for jobs, creating cvs, or needing to apply for or check statutory benefits.
The Community Help Hub is staffed by volunteers from Hope Church Bedlington.
Dennis Fancett, from Hope Church, said: “We are pleased to have been helping local people here in Bedlington over the last five years.
“Typically we get 20 to 30 visitors per day and many people come back over and over again so our regular users have got to know each other and help each other as well.”
