A charity that supports Northumberland students is holding two illustrated talks this autumn.

The Friends of Kirkley Hall, who support students at Northumberland College’s Kirkley Hall campus, are inviting members of the public to a talk later this month for anyone who has an interest in horses.

Alastair Parkin, an equine lecturer at the Kirkley Hall facility, will give an illustrated talk on the development of the college’s equine department on Wednesday, October 15, at 7.30pm.

And on Wednesday, November 12, at 2pm, Peter Dodd, from The Woodland Trust, will give an illustrated talk on the work the trust does and the progress it has made over the years.

Entry to the events is priced at £5 per person and booking is essential by calling Brenda Parke from The Friends of Kirkley Hall on (01661) 853489.
