INVESTMENT: Cash should be shared

I have just been reading about the fact that Ashington is being handed £74m on top of the £20m it has already had. Why?

I think it appears to be being forgotten that Ashington is not the only town in Wansbeck. If I may be so bold as to ask where is Bedlington’s share of the £74m? Where is Newbiggin’s share? There happens to be three towns in Wansbeck, not just one.

I think it’s a disgrace that Ashington is getting all of this money instead of sharing it equally among all three towns in Wansbeck.
