INVESTMENT: Issues are not exclusive

In reply to Revell Cornell Snr’s letter, I heartily agree that Blyth is a brilliant example of how badly councils can get it wrong.

Investment in some areas, and nothing in others. Almost robbing Peter to pay Paul.

I don’t live in Blyth, but it’s not exclusive in this respect.

All over the county we see the same or similar things happening.

Having said that, I do think that the new hotel and the Tall Ships are a step in the right direction.

I do hope it brings the extra revenue that is forecast.

As for the social berths, I would have thought there was plenty of room in the marina, by Ridley Park.

When I cycle there, there always seems as if there’s plenty of space.
