One of the biggest teams in Italian football is to share its training methods with a local football club.
AC Milan is to host a Milan Junior Camp project at Blyth Town FC this summer.
The camp, which is supported by AC Milan and Italy legend Franco Baresi, will be at the club from July 20 to 24, and then August 24 to 28.
The sessions, for youngsters aged six to 17, feature two daily training sessions followed by a tournament each day, with those who impress the most receiving an AC Milan certificate.
Baresi said: “The success of this project lies in its unique offering that combines fun, sport, health and the possibility for each participant to train according to Milan Academy Integrated coaching method.
“We are happy to be in the UK. I recommend all who will attend the camp give maximum effort: this experience can be an important opportunity for improving football skills.”
