Youngsters came up with a flowery way to help raise money for charity this festive season.
Pupils at Whitley Memorial Church of England First School, in Bedlington, came up with unique Christmas cards.
The children worked hard in the classroom to make their own ‘Cauliflower Cards’ for parents to buy.
And at the end of the initiative they managed to raise £290.
After discussion with teachers, they decided to donate their money to ‘Send a Cow’.
The charity provides growing kits for families in Africa.
The kits include seeds, tools and training to enable them to grow their own fruit and vegetables.
