Learn about world of registrars

Find out more about hatches, matches and dispatches at a special event this January.

Members of the public are being offered a special glimpse into the world of the Registrar, as well as a look at how the service has changed with the times and how it started out.

A special talk is being arranged at Bedlington Library in January giving an insight into how and why this service has been there.

The event is aimed at both family historians and also the plain curious.

The talk, on Thursday, January 22, between 2pm and 3.30pm is free, but booking is essential on (01670) 822056.
