Members of a charitable organisation have been learning more about weaponry and armoury as part of an educational visit.
Morpeth Lions Club members visited the Royal Armouries at Leeds for their latest trip, organised by Lion Harry Cone.
Lions enjoyed a topical display commemorating the Battle of Waterloo, and displays relating to weaponry and armour throughout the world.
Lion Simon Pringle said: “There was also action with two members of the Museum staff demonstrating double handed sword fighting from the 14th century.
“The two hours spent there was a marvellous taster of the Armouries.
“For many attending this was their first visit and probably will not be the last.”
