A youngster from Blyth will be representing Northumberland in a beauty pageant in Wales later this year.
Louise Lisle won the title of Miss Northumberland Inspiration in January.
Now the 22-year-old will represent the county in the Miss Inspiration Pageant in April in the south of Wales.
“I can’t wait to represent Northumberland, it’s a bit of an honour really. I just hope I make it proud,” she said.
“Between now and April I am trying to make as many appearances as possible to events such as charity events and shop openings and aim to help as many charities as possible during this time.
“Over the past couple of years I have volunteered for Huskies in Need charity, the rescue where my own dogs are from. This included raising funds for dogs in rescue, fostering and home checking.”
Louise will be raising money for the Leuab The Lion charity, which grants holidays to families caring for a child with a life limiting condition.
Miss Inspiration will take place between Friday, April 8, and Sunday, April 10, at the Congress Theatre in Cwmbran.
