Police were called out to Blyth town centre last night.

A man was taken to hospital from Blyth town centre after emergency services were called out last night.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “At 7.30pm yesterday (Tuesday), police received a report of a concern for a man on Waterloo Road, Blyth.

“Officers attended the scene and the man in question was taken to hospital as a precaution.

“He has since been discharged.”
