Melissa gets call to play at Evolution Emerging

An acoustic singer and songwriter from south east Northumberland has been selected to perform at Evolution Emerging this May.

Melissa Rose, from Blyth, has recently released her new EP, Hopeful Hearts, which is available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.

Having played gigs around the north east, the youngster is now one of the headlining acts for this year’s Northumberland Live festival, taking place on Blyth beach on June 27.

And she has also been selected from more than 400 applicants to play Evolution Emerging on May 23, where she will perform at Ernest, from 8.30pm to 9pm.
