A budding author from Cramlington is preparing to release his first novel.
Scott Bryson has used his experience as a scuba diving instructor travelling the world as the basis for his first book, Gypsy Geordie.
“I started to write as a means of switching off, or a way to relax when I was in Zanzibar managing a dive centre,” he said.
“After long days I would return home and still think about work so one day I decided to put some ink on a bit of paper and took things from there.”
Described as adventure fiction with adult humour, the book follows Scott as he makes the bold decision to leave the recession in England and travel the world.
Gypsy Geordie is available now from www.scottbrysonwrites.com, and Scott will be at WH Smiths in the MetroCentre on July 25 from 10am to 1pm.
