The choir welcomes all ages and abilities from age 16 upwards who are enthusiastic about singing and committed to improve their individual and group performance.

Its leader is Gillian Storey, who has worked with many choirs over the years and is keen to promote enjoyment and social inclusion through singing.

She said: “Singing has so many physical benefits for health and mindfulness, as well as being a valuable vehicle for making new friends and having fun.

“Come along one Thursday night and see if our choir’s for you. We sing a range of songs – from gospel and pop to rock and the classics.

“I am sure you will enjoy the range of songs we do. Everyone will make you very welcome.

“We are also looking to occasionally perform in the community and help raise funds for various charities.”

There is a small subscription of £3 each rehearsal to cover the cost of venue hire and refreshments.
