A CHARITY is searching for a team of enthusiastic volunteers to take part in a new project.
Lifespan, which works with seriously ill people in their own homes, is hoping to recruit seven new volunteers to work in south east Northumberland.
The role will involve providing emotional and social support to people with life-threatening illnesses and their carers.
The project, which is run in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, will be led by Befriending co-ordinator Angela Jackson.
“The volunteers will be able to use their skills to make a positive impact in their local community,” said Ms Jackson.
Anyone interested should contact Angela Jackson on (01434) 673777.
