A new shop will open in Northumberland this June, creating 45 new jobs in the area.
The News Post Leader announced in February that Cramlington was to get a new TK Maxx store, and the shop’s doors will open on June 11.
The new store, based at Manor Walks Shopping Centre, will span 16,279 square feet/1,512 square metres and bring customers an ever-changing selection of big labels at up to 60% less than the RRP.
Store manager Carole Morison said: “We think that Cramlington shoppers will love having a new TK Maxx on their doorstep.
“With deliveries several times a week, there are always new designer finds and one-off gems to discover, all with amazing savings.”
Hammerson’s assistant director retail parks, Colin Farrow, added: “TK Maxx is an iconic national brand and we are pleased to be able to bring such a popular retailer to south east Northumberland.
“As well as providing 45 valuable new jobs to Cramlington, the new store at Manor Walks’ Westmorland Retail Park, which is due to open in June, is perfectly placed to complement the existing retail and leisure offer and has already generated a great deal of excitement amongst shoppers.”
