The NHS in the north east is holding a nurse recruitment open day on Wednesday, January 6, in Newcastle.
Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (NTW) wants to speak to Registered General Nurses (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) and Registered Nurses Learning Disabilities (RNLD), especially those who have experience of working with people with physical disabilities and brain injuries.
The open day for potential candidates will be held on Wednesday, January 6, at Walkergate Park hospital, Benfield Road in Newcastle from 9am to 5pm.
Anne Moore, NTW’s Group Nurse Director said: “The New Year is the perfect opportunity to think about fresh challenges or a new start, so we are looking to appoint qualified nursing professionals to work with us.
“Some of the roles we are hoping to recruit to include those focusing on neurorehabilitation and neuropsychiatry, so if you have experience in this area or are looking to broaden your skills, we would like to hear from you.”
Successful candidates will be based at locations across the region including the Trust’s Walkergate Park Centre for Neurorehabilitation and Neuropsychiatry in Newcastle.
Applications for these and other roles at the Trust are welcome until Sunday, January 10, when adverts go live. Interviews will take place early in the New Year.
