Prospective students will have the first chance to see the latest facilities at Northumberland College at a showcase event on Tuesday.
The showcase open event on Tuesday, December 8, will give visitors the chance to take a look at some of the facilities upgraded as part of a £10m refurbishment over the summer.
They include advanced manufacturing centre equipped with the latest technologies, state-of-the-art construction workshops, spacious motor vehicle workshop with six vehicle bays, luxurious hair and beauty salon with nail bar and individual treatment rooms, modern 40-seat restaurant serving à-la-carte menus, additional industry standard professional kitchen, new teaching and learning resource block at Kirkley Hall campus with IT suite, and arboriculture and tractor workshops with three agricultural vehicle bays at Kirkley Hall.
The event will also give potential students, their families and the general public a chance to see what Northumberland College has to offer, speak to tutors about courses and discuss post-16 options with the college’s Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) team.
The event takes place from 4.30pm to 7pm at both Kirkley Hall and Ashington Campuses.
The college’s Help Hub team is available all year round from 8.30am to 5pm between Monday and Friday. It offers advice and information to students and potential students.
Feel free to drop in and speak to tutors, or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01670 841 200.
