More of your good-luck messages

It’s all change this week on the News Post Leader … and our plans to relaunch your weekly companion as a paid-for publication are being well received.

Wednesday, 28th April 2021, 11:31 pm
The new-look News Post Leader will be on sale from Friday, April 30.

We are continuing to receive good-luck messages from different areas of the communities we continue to serve as we have done since 1874. So far, we have posted letters from Blyth Spartans, Britishvolt, Port of Blyth, Ian Levy MP and Ian Lavery MP; and then from Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Davidsons of Morpeth, Northumberland County Council's Fostering Team and Children's Placements, and Alyn Brewis, Nice Cars For Sale. We would like to thank everyone for their kind words. Here is another selection:

Keith Newman, Highlights PR: "The News Post Leader is an excellent way to let people know what is going on in their local area. I value the relationship I have with the team and wish them well with the new format.”

Penny Marshall, Regional Director for the Institution of Civil Engineers: “We have always found the News Post Leader to be a great vehicle for getting information and messages to communities across South East Northumberland. The last few years have been an exciting time for civil engineering projects in the region, and the NPL has been really helpful in raising the profile of the work that our members do in South East Northumberland and beyond. This is a time of significant change for all of us and as they move to a new way of working, I hope to see NPL go from strength to strength, and look forward to sharing lots of great projects with them and their readership in future.”

Daniel Wilkinson, DW Media, Blyth: “The News Post Leader has been a vital asset across Northumberland. It has shared some amazing local stories which help shed light on the local community, especially when the bigger newspapers and press don't pick up on it.”

Paul Kirkpatrick, Off the Grid Adventures, Ashington: “The News Post Leader is a great resource for sharing positive stories. And keeping us up to date with everything that is happening in the area.”

Waseem Mir, Manager, Harbour View Fish and Chip Restaurant, Seaton Sluice: “Without the coverage we achieved in the News Post Leader it would have been very difficult to reach many of our customers to tell them the steps we had taken to protect them. It’s an essential local asset that we should all be very proud of.”

Paul Stafford, Northumbria Sofa Company, North Seaton Industrial Estate, Ashington: “Great news to learn The Leader is about to relaunch with an enthused and invigorated team who are sure to steer it onto even greater success. In our experience, The Leader can always be relied upon to be a trusted and energetic voice for the good folk of Northumberland and certainly one we are proud to be associated with. Good luck to The Leader as it moves forward in its new format. I think it’s an essential read that better serves our communities with information and local news because it's rooted in the area.”
