Family and friends from all over the country helped a couple celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary and raise money for a lifesaving organisation.
Retired Cramlington posties Ken and Chris Foster celebrated the occasion with around 100 family and friends from as far as London.
Ken and Chris married 60 years ago at the Holy Trinity Church, in Seghill. They started married life at West Holywell, moving to Backworth and then onto Cramlington in 1969.
They have three sons – Alan, Kevin and Shaun – seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Both Ken and Chris were over the moon with the cards and £500 donations to the Great North Air Ambulance.
