PARKING: Fined when not there

editorial image

I arrived at Morrison’s car park in Blyth at 1.15pm on March 5, and departed at 1.45pm.

I returned the next day, March 6, at 9am and departed at 10.30am.

I have received a parking fine of £50 from Parking Eye, which says I was parked for over 21 hours. It has a photo of my car arriving and leaving, but it has lumped the two days together.

I was parked for a total of two hours over two days, but have been told it was 21 hours.

I think other drivers need to be aware what Parking Eye is doing at this car park in Blyth.

It has fined me for parking when I was not even there and my car was at home.
