In response to Mr Stevens, (News Post Leader, December 3), I walk, jog and cycle along the Eve Black Way and it is always dog-walkers causing the problem.
They may see you coming, but expect you to stop as their dog takes priority over anyone else using the route.
A dog should be on a lead and be at its owner’s side at all times.
Why don’t they walk next to the main road and let all the cyclists, joggers and walkers enjoy the views without the constant nuisance of dogs and the attitudes of their owners?
You don’t need the use of the Highway Code, it’s called common sense. Try being aware of your surroundings and other users.
The path is there for everyone.
