Staff at Barchester’s Station Court Care home, in Ashington, were delighted to welcome Seaton Park Medical Group for all residents to receive their second vaccination.

And officials say the action has lifted everyone’s spirits after what has been a very challenging year as they prepare to invite families back for indoor visiting.

Ray Robson, General Manager at the care home, said: “A huge thank you to both our team at Station Court Care home and the team at Seaton Park Medical group.

"Both have been fantastic in rolling out the second phase of our vaccine programme quickly, efficiently and safely ensuring the most vulnerable are protected.

"We are delighted to be ready to invite families back for indoor visiting now whilst feeling safe to do so.

"All our staff members will soon receive their second vaccine which is a huge sigh of relief for all of us.”
