Brenda Blethyn will once more be donning her oversized raincoat and fisherman's hat to solve more mysteries across glorious Northumberland in the 12th series.

It is expected to air in January but in the meantime, we thought we'd dig out some pictures we took almost exactly a year ago when Vera TV crews were spotted filming in Blyth.
