Port of Blyth to hold AGM virtually again
The Port of Blyth is to hold its Annual General Meeting online for the second consecutive year.
The meeting – scheduled for Monday, April 26, at 5.30pm – will take place via Zoom due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Officials say the meeting is designed to give those with business and community interests in Blyth information on the performance of the port in 2020 as well as sharing exciting plans for the future.
The event will include a presentation on the financial and operational performance of the port during 2020 and the launch of both the port’s Annual Review for the year.
A live Q&A with Chief Executive Martin Lawlor and Chair of the Board of Commissioners Geoff Hodgson will offer stakeholders the opportunity to ask questions on any aspect of port activities.
Questions will be accepted beforehand via email to [email protected]
Mr Lawlor, said: “As an independent Trust Port, we work on behalf of a wide range of stakeholders and their input at our Annual Public Meeting each year is both encouraged and highly valued.
"We’re looking forward to hosting the event online having done so successfully in 2020 with positive feedback from many of those who attended.”
The event is open to anyone who would like to attend via registration beforehand.
