Finding it too good to resist, she merrily devoured it! That was a year ago and she has probably been dreaming about it ever since!
They say every dog has his/her day. But this year, the Warkworth Show has turned virtual and is fully online on Saturday, August 22.

The Warkworth Show is unique in that it is the only summer show in the area to be going ahead.
After March, the Covid-19 pandemic had a catastrophic effect with the cancellation of the traditional summer shows and other events but in Warkworth a small band of determined and resolute residents met virtually via Zoom to ensure that the show could go on.
A revised schedule was announced in May ensuring that the unique virtual exhibition will be the best it can be.

Simon Buist, chairman of the Warkworth Show Committee, said: However, we are also exhibiting people’s baking triumphs and this year there will be no chance of the cakes being eaten by ‘that’ dog! All our passionate sewers and knitters also have a chance to shine and achieve notoriety.”
Simon added: “We are very pleased with the response and have had 330 separate entries into the exhibition, which, along with the winning entries, can be viewed on the website on August 22.”
Being a family show, lots of opportunities have been provided for children of all ages, with classes in art, photography and writing.
