Families are being invited to a special fun day at a shopping centre.

Manor Walks – which is looking to change its name for the day to ‘Manor Walks The Plank’ – is holding a Pirates and Princesses Day on Friday, featuring themed activities and competitions.

Children, who can become a fictional pirate or princess, can enjoy storytelling with Captain Raggy Beard, fairground rides, a walk the plank feature, and a fancy dress competition.

Other activities include face painting, a sand pit, children’s tombola and build a boat.

Bruno Coppola, general manager at Manor Walks, said: “We’re looking forward to seeing all the pirates and princesses, as our annual event returns.”

“It’s always a fun and fantastic day with high spirits throughout the whole mall, and of course it’s another way of giving something back to our customers – old and new.”
