Blyth Town Real – the club’s Under 13 girls team – is at the top of the Pin Point League.

And now the girls have a striking new strip, thanks to JB Skills Training, a leading training provider that offers bespoke and funded training options to employers and individuals, which has kitted out the 11 girls in the Under 13s team in a striking new strip.

Chief executive Jeff Bentham said: “JB Skills is growing and enjoying success and as part of that I want to show the communities we work and live in some support.

“My niece Anya plays for the team, so it was a natural choice for me.

“The girls team did really well last year and the number of players is growing. It is an honour to sponsor them and see the company logo on their strips.

“I wish them all the luck in this new season.”

Blyth Town FC currently has over 30 teams ranging across both sexes and from age eight upwards.

Its ground, in South Newsham, has expanded to include a MUGA all season pitch, a full floodlit pitch with a seating stand and a club house.

Paul Corney, who manages the Real team and helps with fund-raising, said: “It is real moral booster for any team when they get new strips. JB Skills Training has really shown us fabulous support so thank you to them.

“We are always on the look out for sponsors and donations to support our ever-growing teams. If anyone else can help, please get in touch.”
