National iced-drinks brand Polar Krush is extending its range in response to customer demand in the leisure industry.

The Ashington-based company is creating post mix from 2019, which is supplied as concentrate and used by the catering industry through a drinks gun.

Bosses are hoping they can now offer a more complete offering to their clients across the UK and Europe.

Michael Reid, sales director at Polar Krush, said: “At Polar Krush, we pride ourselves on having the best products and supporting them with the very best customer service.

“This approach has really paid dividends as we are constantly being approached by new customers as well as being asked by existing customers, both here in the UK and internationally, to extend our product range.

“The most recent of these is from our larger leisure customers, who are actively looking to improve their post mix supply chain.”

The announcement comes only months after Polar Krush predicted turnover will increase by more than 50 percent in 2018.

Following phenomenal results in 2017, the iced drinks giant is predicting large scale growth in 2018 following their major £1million factory refit, the introduction of a full sugar free range and announcing their commitment to cut their use of single-use plastic by the end of the year.

Serving over 15 million cups each year in the UK alone, the company also supply machines and juice drinks to countries around the world.

Customers include cinemas, bowling alleys, leisure centres, ice rinks, food courts, holiday and theme parks, shopping centres, schools and independent retailers.
