Coastline Fish & Chip Restaurant and Ciccarelli Gelateria, near Blyth beach, has undergone a major renovation over the last 18 months.

Owners, the Gregorio family, were keen to improve the restaurant facilities to give customers an even better dining experience.

Blyth Valley MP Ronnie Campbell was on hand to official open the new-look establishment.

The restaurant now provides customers with an extended and comfortable eating space of up to 200 seats, along with an additional function room facility which is available for hire.

A local interior designer helped draw up the new look, taking influence both from the coastal location and elements of a classic 1950s diner.

Customers can also enjoy the new bar facility, serving a range of beers, ciders and wines as well as some new additions to the Coastline menu including prawns, squid and artisan bread.

The Gregorio family say they are extremely proud of what they have achieved at Blyth and dedicated to providing services for local people.

The family and all of the staff are looking forward to a busy season ahead.

Mr Campbell said: “I was most impressed with Coastline Fish and Chip Restaurant and Ciccarelli Gelateria’s fantastic recent refurbishment, it has really put Blyth beach on the map.

“Domenico, Franco, Gino, Michael and the rest of the staff deserve every success.”

“I hope that they continue providing an excellent facility and wonderful fish and chips for Blyth, its residents and our many hungry tourists, for many years to come.”
