A new shop is set to open in Northumberland this August, bringing a number of jobs.
Poundworld – one of the UK’s leading single-priced retailers – has confirmed plans to open its first store in Blyth this summer.
Opening in August, the large 5,000 sq ft store will be next to Iceland, at the site of the former Westgate Department store.
Blyth shoppers will be the latest in the UK to benefit from Poundworld’s savings on a massive range of leading household brands, including Colgate, Coca Cola and Johnsons.
Area manager Adrian McCoy said: “We’re delighted to announce our intention to open a store in Blyth, bringing more jobs to the town.
“We’ve also got a huge opening celebration planned, with prizes, giveaways, face painting and more.”
A number of jobs will be available at the new store, and jobseekers can apply for a role by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
