Anthony Welsh has made it through to the final of the PETA competition.

Anthony Welsh is a technician, firefighter and model, and he also runs a vegan Instagram account.

He was recently selected as one of the four male finalists in People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ (PETA’s) Hottest Vegan Competition 2016 for the UK and Ireland.

The 26-year-old went vegan five years ago after doing research online into some cases of cruelty in the killing of animals for food and clothes.

In his spare time, Anthony plays the drums and loves to travel. In addition to promoting vegan living on social media, he also wears apparel with a vegan message to the gym.

The two winners of the Hottest Vegan Competition (one male and one female) will each receive the prize of a one-night stay for two at the luxury boutique hotel La Suite West in London.

Voting on the finalists to help PETA determine the winners will run until Friday, June 17. They will be chosen by the organisation based on several factors, including vote count, and will be announced on Tuesday, June 21.
