Pupils get lessons in staying safe
Students have been given lessons in staying safe.
Year 9 and 10 pupils at Bedlington Community High School took part in three Safetyworks sessions with Northumbria Police.
Topics included drugs awareness training, sexting, sexual exploitation and grooming.
As a results of the workshops the students checked their Facebook security settings.
A school spokesmansaid: “Students feel more informed on how to keep themselves safe on the internet and the consequences of sending inappropriate images.”
