Students from a county academy have been busily making Christmas crafts and gifts during their lunchtimes.
Blyth Academy pupils invited members of the local community to join them in a Christmas fair in the academy’s open learning centre.
Items on sale included soft toys, jewellery boxes and an endless supply of cakes, biscuits and gingerbread.
The guests of honour were representatives from Blyth Spartans including manager Tom Wade, chairman Tony Platten and player Sammy Perez taking time to join in the fundraising on their way to their historic victory over Hartlepool.
The Blyth Academy and Blyth Spartans are established supporters of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and the proceeds from the fair, totalling over £750 will be donated to the charity.
