Youngsters at a Bedlington high school have been raising funds for charity with a coffee morning.
Pupils at Bedlingtonshire Community High School joined staff and parents at the coffee morning in aid of Macmillan.
Hospitality and senior students from the school set themselves an ambitious target to raise £500 at the event, through a raffle, cake auction, guess the doll’s name, as well as cake sales – and raised more than £560 on the day.
Raising achievement leader, Fiona Mather, said: “It was a fantastic event that showed true community spirit raising funds for such a worthwhile cause.
“Thank you to local businesses who donated to the raffle.”
