Another month, another modest line-up for Amazon Prime.

But those seeking quality over quantity will still find much to enjoy. Including an Oscar-nominated drama, the return of crime sleeper-hit Sneaky Pete, and a brand new thriller series starring Jeff Daniels.

The Looming Tower

What is it? Starring Jeff Daniels and Alec Baldwin, this 10-episode series is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning exposé of the same name by Lawrence Wright.

The Looming Tower traces the rising threat of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda, and takes a controversial look at how the rivalry between the CIA and FBI may have inadvertently set the stage for the tragedy of 9/11 and the war in Iraq.

In Season 2, thugs believing Marius is the real Pete kidnap him and threaten to kill his family unless he takes them to Pete’s estranged mother Maggie, and the millions she stole from them.
