Residents invited to find out more about healthcare
Following feedback at the public engagement sessions in Rothbury last month, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is holding an event in the village on Monday from 2pm to 4pm.
The session at Rothbury Community Hospital will begin with a presentation about the help available for people who may have difficulties maintaining their health and independence, followed by a drop-in event for people to ask questions.

Hide AdSocial-care support for adults in Northumberland is delivered by Northumbria Healthcare in partnership with Northumberland County Council.
For more than a decade, the integrated approach has meant that patients benefit from more seamless health and social care from hospital to home. Services include short-term support for people who need help to recover their ability to live independently after a serious accident or illness, and longer-term support for people who need it.
Information will be available on initiatives which enable people who need adult social-care support to manage their own budget and choose how their care is delivered, as well as advice about solutions to common problems that people have.
John Young, from Northumbria Healthcare, said: “We would encourage people to come along to find out more about the help and support available to help people take control over how their care is managed and arranged.
