After many years trying to get her work recognised, Margaret Scrowther decided to self publish and she contacted Consilience Media in Whitley Bay.

The team there was impressed with her manuscript and copies of the book – titled Millie McDine – are now available to buy online.

The novel is described as the powerful story of a free-spirited girl, who is battered and scarred through her tumultuous life. It has already generated quite a few positive reviews from readers.

Margaret said: “I’m delighted with the response so far and I’m very grateful to all those who have helped with their support and expertise.

“The editing and proof reading service from Liam Cross was fantastic and his advice and support was beyond anything else that I have received.

“Consilience Media did a great job with putting it together and Jay Thompson, who is part of its team, did a fabulous design for the front cover.”
